We visited the Gurdwara (Sikh Place of Worship)

We had to cover our heads to show respect
We walked round the sacred scripts (Guru Granth Sahib)
All the congregation have to sit on the floor - everyone is equal
Some of the sacred texts are written in English for those who can't read Punjabi
We listened to some music ... one of the instruments was the Tabla
The sacred texts are covered in special clothes called Rumalas
Manjeet showed us the Guru Granth Sahib (sacred texts) which Sikhs treat like a person (see below)
Here are some of the symbols of Sikhism. One means: 'God is Great'
