The Holocaust Centre

We met this little bronze girl on the platform. She had a suitcase with her.

On our way out, we placed a pebble on

the Memorial Cairn

We spent the day walking alongside Leo, a German Jew, living

just before the start of WW2

This Flame Sculpture is the symbol of

the Holocaust Centre

We learnt a great deal about what life was like for Jews

just before WW2 and how they made decisions about their future

We would thoroughly recommend

this trip to everyone

The Centre has a very interactive style. We felt like we were

sharing in Leo's life.

We met a real Holocaust Survivor called

Bernard.... He was great!

Bernard told us about being bullied at school. There

was nothing he or his parents could do.

We promised him we would not turn our heads

the other way if we saw bullying.
